Travel Diary: London (2005)
This must be the best summer of my life, spending two months in Europe just going to the park with friends and be able to live in a flat with just a walking distance away from the shopping centre of London (Oxford street) and in front of a subway station with McDonalds on it! You can totally imagine how a 7 year old Bernadeth get to spend her 2005 summer :D
The best part of my summer must be going to the famous tourist spots like Buckingham Palace, Lego Land, Albert Hall, Peter Pan statue (which is my fave statue in Kensington Gardens) and who can forget, The London Eye and Tower Bridge! Being able to sleep with a electric blanket and wear 3 shirts and a coat plus gloves and a bonnet is such a cool thing hahaha. It was also my first time to see an actual snow and discovered how fun ice skating is!
My dad stayed for just 2 weeks and I am the only daughter who did not go to the Heathrow Airport with him because I chose to see Paris Hilton and get her autograph in a mall just a few blocks away from our flat. (That’s how much I love my Daddy! :P) Luckily, I was the 2nd person in the line and paparazzi’s are everywhere but then she told me “Hi, sweetie!” and all I got to say is “Hi, I’m from the Philippines” haha!
If I continue blogging all about my London memories, then I’m afraid you will be very bored. I just missed everything about London, it makes me want to live there because of the weather and my friends, grandma and even everyone that I met during this vacation. I can’t forget how much I cried when we were about to leave :( At that time, I wished I already discovered my fashion sense and the world of blogging but oh well, there’s always a next time… very soon (I hope… with a visit in Paris haha)! ;)
P.S. My sister’s letter to my mother when we were in London hahaha
